Mocular Pucker

Mocular Pucker

A macular pucker occurs when a fine membrane or scar tissue develops over the surface of the macula. Like a scar that occurs on the skin, scar tissue on the surface of the macula contracts and wrinkles the surface of the macula.

Wrinkling of the retina can result in visual distortion and blurring. Sometimes surgery by a retina specialist is necessary to remove the scar tissue and improve vision.

How can we help you?

Our goal is to ensure that every patient is given personalized care and treatment and that all of their questions and concerns are fully addressed.

Scheduling an appointment with Dr. Win was a breeze. Due to my busy work schedule, I am only able to see him on Saturdays. I was quite nervous visiting Dr. Win about my retinal detachment as I have been ignoring this issue for quite sometime. He and his staff put my mind at ease. With several treatments, my vision has improved significantly. I love being able to see again.
